2026 Oceania Series Boulder Competition and Australian Boulder Championship: Epic Double-Header

The Oceania Series continues its 2026 competition series, and it’s about to rev up, as this is one event you won’t want to miss.

The 2026 World Climbing Oceania Series next event is set to take place in New South Wales, Australia from February 28 to March 1, 2026. This year, it’s coming in hot as a double-header alongside the 2026 Australian Boulder Championship.

What does this mean? It means one arena, two events, a stacked field, and a full weekend of high stakes boulder problem solving where every heel hook, dropped knee, and toe placement could mean the difference between topping out or falling off the leaderboard.

2026 Oceania Series Boulder Competition: Who’s eligible?

This event will bring together top athletes from across the Oceania region. Podium eligibility is as follows, according to the information packet released from the Sport Climbing Australia [Link to the information packet]:

• Australia National Team members
• New Zealand National Team members
• Guam National Team members

The 2026 Australian Boulder Championships, occurring at the same time as the Oceania Series event, is only eligible to the Australia National Team members.
