Preview
The 2026 Asian Beach Games will take place in Sanya, China, marking the long awaited return of the event after a 10 year hiatus due to Covid-19. On May 18, 2025, the Olympic Council of Asia officially announced the revival of the games, bringing together top athletes from across Asia to compete in a wide range of sports. Climbing will be making man appearance at this year’s event with men’s and women’s individual speed and mixed team relay. The competition will take place at the Tianya Haijiao Venue Cluster over two days, April 28th and 29th, with nearly 100 athletes participating.
