2026 Asia Championship Bouldering Results

On April 10th, the Meishan International Climbing Center hosted the bouldering final for the 2026 Asia Championship. Over 200 athletes from across Asia came together for an exciting weekend of climbing and it did not disappoint.

Many of bouldering’s best professional climbers took to the walls in this years’ event to test their skill, technique, and athleticism again a full range of impressive boulder problems. Let’s take a look at who took to the podium at the 2026 Asia Championship bouldering competition down below.


Men’s Boulder Final

Japan’s Tomoa Narasaki opened the men’s boulder final in style, flashing the first problem and immediately setting a high standard for the rest of the field. His strong performance kept the pressure on throughout the round, but South Korea’s Dohyun Lee ultimately delivered the standout performance of the night. Lee topped all four boulders, sealing the victory with an impressive flash on the final problem that showcased his precision, power, and composure under pressure.

Lee celebrated at the top of the podium as he claimed the gold medal at the 2026 Asia Championship bouldering competition. Standing beside him was silver medalist Tomoa Narasaki, who maintained a consistent performance across the final by topping three out of the four problems.

Completing the 2026 Asia Championship bouldering competition medalists was Narasaki’s compatriot Keita Dohi. Dohi also topped three out of the four problems but was unable to secure the zone on the third boulder, a result that allowed Narasaki to hold on to second place; leaving Dohi to take home the bronze medal.


Women’s Boulder Final

Ai Mori, gold medal, 2026 Asia championship bouldering

Despite heavy rain during the 2026 Asia Championship bouldering competition, the event continued to deliver an impressive display of skill and determination from the women’s professional climbers.

Japan’s women’s team delivered a dominant performance in the boulder final, sweeping the podium and claiming all three medals. Leading the field was Japan’s Ai Mori, who once again demonstrated why she is one of the sport’s top competitors. Mori delivered an outstanding round, flashing all four boulder problems to secure the gold medal.

Joining Ai Mori on the podium were her teammates Melody Sekikawa and Futaba Ito. Sekikawa earned the silver medal after flashing three of the four problems, though she faced difficulties on the second boulder, a challenging slab. Ito completed the Japanese podium sweep by taking home the bronze medal.

China’s crowd favorite Zhilu Luo finished just outside the podium in fourth place.
