The 2026 World Climbing Asia Championship will be taking place along side the Nagoya Asian Game Qualifier in the city of Meishan. The Meishan International Climbing Center is no stranger to hosting international climbing events and as one of China’s premier climbing venues, it is sure to feature some challenging climbing routes this year.
Elite climbers from across Asia will be meeting together to compete in all three disciplines. It will feature climbers from 15 countries, including Japan, China, and South Korea.
This competition is a key highlight of the April 2026 international climbing events calendar, offering high-level performances and early season rankings insight for the Nagoya Asian Game Qualifiers.
2026 World Climbing Europe Series: Kaunas, LITHUANIA

The World Climbing Europe Series in Kaunas is a very exciting chance for climbers and spectators to see a new city and country as it marks the first time for Lithuania to host this event. 2026 Asian Beach Games: Sanya, CHINA

One of the April 2026 international climbing events to look forward to is the 6th Asian Beach Games, which will be taking place in Sanya, China. It has been a long awaited event after a 10 year hiatus due to Covid-19 and various other factors forcing the Olympic Council of Asia to postpone these games. This multi-sport event will once again include sport climbing, where spectators can watch as climbers race against the clock in speed climbing.
Set in the coastal city of Sanya, the Games offer a unique setting and are expected to draw significant regional attention.
