Slovenia’s Lina Funa delivered an outstanding performance in the women’s boulder final, combining strength and composure to secure first place. She topped three problems and achieved all four zones with fewer attempts than Great Britain’s Isabella Bridgens, ultimately claiming the gold medal.

Bridgens faced challenges on the fourth problem, struggling to secure the zone. However, on her 19th attempt, she successfully controlled it—an effort that proved decisive in earning her the silver medal and a place on the podium.

Israel’s Ayala Kerem joined them in third. A consistent podium contender, Kerem recorded three tops in the final but was unable to secure the zone on the second problem, leaving her with the bronze medal.

France’s Sam Avezou, a seasoned competitor on the international circuit, claimed the gold medal in the men’s boulder final at the 2026 World Climbing Kaunas bouldering event. In a tightly contested round, all three podium finishers topped three of the four problems and secured all available zones, leaving attempts as the defining factor in the final standings. Avezou’s efficiency and composure under pressure ultimately set him apart from the field.

Israel’s Yonatan Katz delivered a strong and consistent performance to take the silver medal, matching the top count and zones but requiring more attempts than Avezou. Close behind, fellow Israeli Or Mark rounded out the podium in third, also with three tops and four zones, in what proved to be one of the most competitive finals of the event.
