Nonoha Kume is a professional Japanese sport climber from Chiba, JAPAN who is best known for her ability in the discipline of lead climbing. Kume started climbing when she was in junior high school and soon started competing in climbing competitions. In 2021, she won the IFSC World Youth Championship (lead event) and also reached first place the following year. She was able to join the JAPAN national climbing team in 2023 where she received her first gold medal in women’s lead climbing at the IFSC World Cup Chamonix event.
