Max Bertone, hailing from Réunion Island, France, has been climbing since the age of six. He made his debut on the senior international circuit in 2024 and quickly established himself as a rising talent, earning a fourth-place finish in his first season of competition. In 2025, Bertone claimed the silver medal in men’s lead climbing at the IFSC Climbing World Cup in Bali, INDONESIA. The result marked his first World Cup podium at the senior level and further established him as one of the sport’s emerging talents.
