Masahiro Higuchi is a professional Japanese sport climber who has been competing competitively in sport climbing since the age of seventeen. He primarily competes in the dicipline of lead climbing, which he has confessed that it is due to bouldering not being part of the competitive sport scene until later in his climbing career and due to his preference of lead climbing. Higuchi has made major achievements in his career, including but not limited to multiple World Cup medals in lead climbing.
